Welcome to the Official STRC Web Site

The Southern Textile Research Conference is partnering with AATCC's Chemical Applications Interest Group this year to offer a joint program May 20-22. The program will focus on Sustainability, Innovation, and Opportunity in the Textile Industry.

Our venue will be Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort in Pawleys Island, SC. We have an exciting technical program planned with presentations on Dyeing Optimization, Denim Garment Finishing, Insect Repellency, Plasma Finishing, Nanotechnology, and Sustainability. The usual golf and networking activities will, of course, be available.

2012 STRC

STRC is a conference that was started approximately 50 years ago to enable technical professionals from the dyestuff, chemical, manufacturing, and academic sectors of the textile industry to assemble.  The conference is designed to foster discussion on the topics presented.  Free time in the afternoon hours is structured to provide attendees an opportunity to forge new friendships and renew old acquaintances.
